Mangrove Tree-planting

What: Mangrove tree-planting activity
When: Nov 25-26 (Sat/Sun) - 2006
Where: Alaminos, Pangasinan

Explore the beauty of Alaminos and its Hundred Islands National Park.
Snorkel or dive the awesome reef - home to thousands of giant clams, and countless numbers of corals, fishes, etc. Spend a lazy weekend sipping ice-cold beer by the beach, or bird-watching in the nearby forest.

Opportunity:
Mangroves are natural beach barriers and home to hundreds of birds, shellfish and crustaceans. This activity will give you first-hand experience in restoring Mangrove forest in Alaminos - by actually planting saplings in the wetland. 10 years from now, you'll look back (or even visit back the site) - and be (hopefully) amazed by your personal contribution in conserving our fragile coastal environment.
